Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how visitors use Falling into Fall and improve the site. It collects page views, interactions, device and browser information, and masked session recordings. Data is processed by PostHog in the United States.

Text and form inputs are masked in recordings. We do not record map canvas content or network request bodies. PostHog uses browser session storage to associate activity within a visit.

Operational and security logs

We keep private request and performance logs to diagnose problems, measure site performance, investigate abuse, and check whether traffic claiming to be a crawler is authentic. These logs can include IP addresses, full browser user agents, requested paths and query strings, referring URLs, network and approximate location information, and connection and request metadata provided by Cloudflare.

We retain diagnostic request headers, excluding cookies, authorization headers, and access credentials. We do not log request bodies. Operational database records are retained for 180 days, and private log archives for up to 457 days. Access is restricted to authorized site operators.

Your browser preferences

We disable PostHog analytics and session replay when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. These preferences do not disable the operational logs and performance measurements we use to keep the site reliable.
